This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Participate in regular meetings with project team members to provide updates on project status, milestones, and issues resolution.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of contractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and budgetary constraints.
- Support commissioning and startup activities, including equipment testing, validation, and qualification.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in construction or CAPEX projects, preferably within the pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or chemical industries.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities (e.g., FDA, cGMP).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to be site-based in Lebanon, Indiana, for the duration of the project.
