Real Estate Associate
Our client, a highly regarded law firm, seeks a Real Estate Associate with 4-6 years of experience in real estate financing, lender representation, co-lender/intercreditor agreements, and/or commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS). The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for real estate law. This position reports directly to the head of the real estate practice group at the assigned office and offers significant client-facing opportunities.

Focus:
Advise and represent clients in a variety of real estate financing transactions, including lender representation and structuring co-lender and intercreditor agreements.
Handle matters related to commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS).
Draft, review, and negotiate documents related to real estate transactions.
Conduct due diligence and manage the closing process for real estate finance deals.
Work closely with senior attorneys, practice group heads, and clients to address complex legal issues.
Engage in client development and participate in client meetings and discussions.
Skill Set:
J.D. from a top law school with strong academic performance.
4-6 years of experience in real estate financing, lender representation, co-lender/intercreditor agreements, and/or CMBS.
Experience with Am Law 100 firms or leading boutique firms is preferred.
Active involvement in law school activities such as moot court, law review, or other academic organizations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
