Salary:
$260,000.00 - $390,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Advise clients on a variety of commercial real estate finance transactions. Lead the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of key loan documents like intercreditor agreements and mortgage documents. Manage due diligence, transaction structuring, and closing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transaction execution. Proactively monitor market trends to inform clients and improve strategic outcomes. Provide insight and guidance on transactional and regulatory issues within commercial real estate finance. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active Bar Admission in New York. 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. Substantive knowledge of commercial and mezzanine loans. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage transaction teams. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a large law firm environment. Proven track record in leading due diligence and managing transactional processes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Commitment to maintaining high standards of client service and professional ethics. Advanced understanding of financial structuring and securitization. Skills: Strong negotiation and drafting skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to analyze complex legal and financial issues. Proficiency in legal research and the use of related software tools.
