This position demands expertise in drafting and negotiating critical loan documents, leading due diligence, and managing transaction processes from initiation to closure.
Salary:
$260,000.00 - $390,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial real estate finance transactions. Counsel on structuring complex financing initiatives such as loan originations and securitizations. Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of core transaction documents, including intercreditor agreements and mortgage documents. Coordinate the management and execution of transaction due diligence, structuring, and closing. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transaction processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends to enhance client services and outcomes. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials. Active Bar Admission in North Carolina. 3-6 years of significant experience in commercial real estate finance law. Proven track record in handling commercial and mezzanine loans. Experience in leading transaction teams, managing due diligence, and closing deals. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a large law firm setting. Skills: Strong capability in legal analysis and problem-solving in commercial real estate finance scenarios. Excellent negotiation and document drafting skills. Ability to manage complex projects and timelines in a collaborative environment. Leadership skills with a focus on staff development and stakeholder management.
