Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate to join a top-tier international law firm in Boston, MA. This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a distinguished Global Finance group recognized by Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 US. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-profile deals, advising on a broad spectrum of commercial real estate finance transactions both nationally and internationally.
Salary:
$260,000.00 - $390,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Advise clients on a comprehensive range of commercial real estate finance transactions. Provide expert counsel on intricate financing structures including loan originations, securitizations, and servicing. Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of critical financial documents such as intercreditor agreements and mortgage documents. Manage all transactional components including due diligence, structuring, and finalizing deals. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure superior outcomes for clients. Continuously stay abreast of market trends to proactively address clients’ needs and contribute to strategic decision-making. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic background. Active Bar Admission in Massachusetts. 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. Proven track record in handling commercial real estate and mezzanine loans. Experience in leading deal teams, from due diligence through closing. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a large, international law firm setting. Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent negotiation and persuasive communication skills. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams. Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced expertise in financial structuring and commercial real estate law. Proficiency in legal research and the usage of legal databases.
