A law firm seeks a highly experienced Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its team in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in managing complex commercial acquisition and disposition transactions, as well as commercial financings. The role also requires a strong background in drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements. Duties: Lead and manage sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings Draft and negotiate joint venture agreements, ensuring alignment with clients' objectives and business strategies Provide legal counsel on the structuring and execution of complex real estate deals Collaborate with clients, developers, and other real estate professionals to ensure smooth execution of transactions Oversee due diligence processes, ensuring all legal aspects of transactions are thoroughly reviewed and addressed Advise clients on risk management strategies and legal solutions related to real estate investments and financing Work on structuring joint ventures and partnerships in the commercial real estate sector Prepare and review legal documents related to commercial transactions, including purchase agreements, financing documents, and operating agreements Assist in resolving disputes related to real estate transactions and joint ventures through negotiation or litigation Requirements: 15+ years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a strong emphasis on acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions Extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating joint venture agreements Deep understanding of commercial real estate financing and investment structures Proven ability to manage complex legal transactions and work with multiple stakeholders Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide junior attorneys and staff High level of initiative and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, concise legal writing Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications: Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission) Skills: Expertise in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings Strong experience in drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements Advanced knowledge of real estate financing and investment structures Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of complex work Strong organizational and analytical skills Proficient with legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
