We are currently recruiting a faculty member for a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PC-PNP) Program Director position. The PC-PNP Program Director is responsible for the PC-PNP program of the College. The PC-PNP Program Director ensures that the standards and policies of the College of Nursing, the Health Science Center (HSC), and the University are met in the PC-PNP program, and further that the program achieves the highest standards for Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner education outlined by national bodies in nursing education. Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP or equivalent) Three years Primary Care PNP practice experience Active Nurse Practitioner license and CPNP-PC national certification Clinical preceptor or didactic teaching experience Must be eligible for licensure in New Mexico Preferred Qualifications: Didactic teaching experience in the last 5 years Experience working with rural and/or underserved populations Experience mentoring Doctor of Nursing Practice students Leadership experience in academic or other healthcare settings A demonstrated commitment to diversity equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities
