Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager

Salary:
$80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple tax engagement teams to deliver quality tax services to clients. Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients. Oversee complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries. Manage and contribute to the preparation of client billings and account management. Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level staff and attend professional development and continuing educations sessions on a regular basis. Engage in business development opportunities and work with partners and managers to promote the firm’s services and its brand throughout the marketplace. Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required. 5+ years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience; public accounting experience is preferred. Thorough knowledge of the tax process and ability to manage budgets and projects. Proven leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to direct and control overall organizational resources. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Taxation or Law degree preferred. Experience with corporate, partnership, individual and trust taxation preferred. Proven problem solver with the ability to provide in-depth analysis of complex tax issues. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software and applications. Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong supervisory, leadership, and teaching abilities.
