Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW Operate adhesive laminator, extrusion laminator, or press machine in the Primary Department to produce high-quality laminated products. Ensure a safe work environment while meeting customer specifications and productivity standards.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO Set up and operate laminators to meet quality and productivity requirements. Troubleshoot equipment, web handling, and lamination issues. Inspect adhesion quality, identify defects, and ensure materials meet customer standards. Complete and maintain accurate documentation and reports. Assist in training personnel and communicate effectively with management and team members. Maintain housekeeping standards and follow safety and chemical handling protocols. Adapt to changes, handle additional tasks, and support continuous improvement initiatives. WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
Two years of web handling experience; adhesive or extrusion lamination experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting lamination problems. Effective communication skills, teamwork abilities, and attention to detail. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it. Proficiency in computers and ability to learn new programs. Visual acuity for identifying minor imperfections and color accuracy. Knowledge of safety precautions and operation of tools and equipment. WHAT WE VALUE
