Cape Fox Shared Services is seeking a Capture Manager to lead, develop and manage capture plans and strategies for new business opportunities. The Capture Manager will be responsible for focusing efforts on developing a pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintaining progress in the pursuit of business opportunities working collaboratively with program management, contracts, business development and finance. Essential Job Duties: Responsible for executing business development functions including account management, business development, pipeline development, capture, and proposal support Responsible for creating and leading customer engagements, mission analyses, and new business initiatives to include analyzing customer relationship management strategy and engage senior mgmt in contact activity Support the strategic planning process, with specific focus on achieving the strategy through new business growth Develops the bid strategy, keeping senior management briefed on bid progress, and leads complex captures through the proposal contributors across the different functions ensuring high probability of win for pursued opportunities Identifies gaps and emerging requirements, performs market and economic analysis, conducts business intelligence, designs and executes formal capture plans and monitors competitor activity for each capture. Coordinates pre-proposal and proposal activities with internal partners and any major subcontractor or consultant effort. Participates in and/or leads business planning activities, to include periodic pipeline reviews, bid agenda development, opportunity gate reviews, and proposal reviews. Interacts routinely with all levels of management, functional POCs, staff, and customers, and follows through on tasking. Conducts after action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions to refine bid strategies to enhance proposal readiness. Participates in and/or attends bidder conferences, oral presentations and site surveys
