VP – Collateral Services Product Management & Strategy About J.P. Morgan Corporate & Investment Bank J.P. The Collateral Services Product team in the Americas region develops and delivers new or enhanced services to support our clients in managing collateral for their entire portfolio of trading activity. Working as part of a global team, we provide collateral agency services to all segments within Investor Services, including banks, broker dealers, asset managers, insurance companies, hedge funds, pension funds, corporations, public sector and government entities. The Collateral Services markets are experiencing the most significant change in its history due to financial regulations, such as the Uncleared Margin Rules, Dodd-Frank Act, and the European Market Infrastructure Reform, which are causing considerable legal, operational and commercial impact to our clients. By using our collateral management solutions, clients can concentrate on their core trading activities instead of focusing their efforts on impact from market or regulatory events. POSITION OVERVIEW

Objective: To help lead the growth of the Collateral Services product in the Americas market by executing the business strategy and development of product solutions to win new and incremental business from prospects and existing clients. Drive the Product – influence sustainable growth of the Collateral Services business through understanding of the market, client and regulatory landscape. Market Research – assess product opportunities with respect to client domicile, local securities issuance and regulatory requirements. Be Commercial – incorporate risk and business assessments to support commercial perspective and to ensure alignment with Collateral Management Strategy. Influence and Decision Making – understand the drivers of the product and apply a financially balanced perspective to effect appropriate decision making. PRODUCT MANAGER POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

Partner with Sales & Relationship Management where Product input is required in pitching for new business with new or existing clients; includes the provision of any required training / demo presentations relating to prospective new business. Where new business opportunities require a non-standard model (or require new Collateral Management services), coordinate the scoping, design and internal review/approval of the proposed operating model. Track the sales pipeline for new and incremental business, and ensure business readiness for client requirements. Client Experience

Understand priorities of the key client relationships as relates to the Collateral Management business. Influence and engage in initiatives that drive product efficiencies, improve product controls and support the product strategy. Coordinate Product input and decisions as relates to the client change process e.g., prioritization, product offering decisions, key themes. Resolve client inquiries related to product capability, engaging the appropriate functional expert where necessary. Market Knowledge & Understanding

Understand the client and market dynamic for the Americas region. Identify and communicate client trends within the Product organization. Leverage the Sales Team to understand how J.P. Morgan Collateral Services differs relative to competitors in the market. Understand Product requirements for the market: Identify gaps, opportunities, and influence market investment initiatives. Understand evolving Regulatory changes and impact to the business and our clients. Marketing & Education

Provide education to, and exchange knowledge with, partners on the Collateral Management product, strategy, process, and functions. Guide the client engagement and communication standards and processes in relation to changes that impact Collateral Services clients. Take communications, presentations, user guides and other relevant material produced and develop into client facing material as required. Provide Collateral Management specific information to the Sales team for marketing purposes. Financial Management

Align decision making to the defined business strategy and priorities. Evaluate impact of decisions and opportunities to the business growth plan. Partner with the Sales Team to provide input into the Sales strategy (targeted markets, client-base, product offerings). Understand Product commercials including Monthly / Quarterly review of P&L vs. Plan including deep dives on key drivers. Understand the P&L and new, incremental, repriced and lost business. Recognize, track and understand profitability and ER dynamics at market and client level. Skills

Language: In addition to English, written and oral proficiency in other languages highly desirable. Experience

10-15 Years in Financial Services particularly in the Securities Servicing, Markets or Trading. 7-10 years in a Client Facing role or Product Management. Direct experience with the markets and client segments in the Americas. Prior experience in Collateral Services; Securities Clearing; Derivatives; Securities.
