Ansök locations United States, Solon (OH) time type Full time posted on Registrerades för 6 dagar sedan job requisition id R2024120007 In this exciting opportunity, the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Director will develop and implement strategy and tactical plans to achieve organizational goals relative to service performance and inventory levels. Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement. Support all operational activities for Tarkett related to Demand Planning, Sales Forecasting, Production Planning, Inventory Management, Resale activity, Raw Material supply & planning. This role is a core integrator between sales, manufacturing, sourcing and supply chain functions, and will be driving the needed supply chain improvements and standardization across different processes, focusing primarily on SIOP. The role will lead and manage a team. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for translating Tarkett’s overall direction and objectives into a Demand, Production/Supply Plan, and Inventory Plan. Develop and drive improvements to existing SIOP programs, from sales forecast, inventory and production planning, days of inventory and cash cycle. Lead, motivate and develop team to set strategy & vision and prioritize opportunities. Review and update sales forecast, production planning and material requirements through SIOP process using connected ERP tools and BI systems. Plan demand and supply sourced materials from external vendors and facilities outside TNA perimeter. Support new product development and end of life process to minimize impact to overall supply chain health. Develop raw material supply strategy with Sourcing and Manufacturing Supply Chain to identify requirements and propose changes when needed. Leverage ERP Systems to assess impact to materials availability from customer sales opportunities affecting demand for product above plan - assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies. Design, produce, review and analyze reports that support sales and operations planning, including; sales, production and inventory actual compared to forecast; forecast accuracy; KPI weekly and monthly reporting. Prepare monthly working documents for the SIOP demand and supply meetings. Develop monthly process to utilize OMP functionality to generate a statistical forecast used as the baseline for the entire SIOP Forecast. Regularly conduct Root Cause Analysis material shortages, stock outages, and safety stock levels to meet optimum service & inventory through exception management transactions. Analyze inventory levels and product demands using ABC Inventory Analysis. Continuously Improve collection of key business partner inputs into the monthly forecasting cycle. (i.e. collaboration with Sales Operations on 3PS and key customer projects). Propose process improvement initiatives to ensure the team achieves production, inventory and customer service objectives. Apply metrics to measure initiatives’ success in delivering value. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics or Business Administration (with Supply Chain, Operations or Analytics concentration). Master’s degree, MBA preferred. 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning/Forecasting and associated analytics. Ideal Candidate Attributes: ERP experience required, SAP and OMP experience, preferred. Data warehouse experience, Cognos experience, preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and VBA is required, along with functional knowledge of Microsoft Access and Microsoft Power applications, and general knowledge of all remaining Microsoft 365 applications. Thorough understanding of APICS principles. Strong forecast modeling/optimization skills. Excellent analytical and reporting skills including the ability to run data regression. Experience with databases, query/reporting, SQL experience preferred. Superior complex problem solving, root cause analysis and resolution skills. Excellent attention to detail with ability to effectively prioritize. Significant and demonstrated experience attracting, developing and retaining outstanding talent in large organizations. Leadership capability to motivate, energize, align and promote change in others related to a common purpose and objectives. Ability to collaborate and drive decisions in an organization. Ability to develop effective working relationships with others and understands the importance of working toward common goals. Experience leading cross functional groups and projects. Strong business acumen. Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written with excellent presentation skills. Ability to effectively interact with various levels of management. Hands-on project management experience, preferred.
