Principle Objective of Position The Strategy & Operations Lead is accountable for leading the development and deployment of strategy and priority objectives for Global Product Development and Supply (GPS). This includes coordination and alignment of key stakeholders to ensure oversight of near-term objectives and long-term strategy. This role is also responsible for the implementation of governance for the GPS Leadership Team. Key to the role is support of the President of GPS, which includes various activities such as preparation for internal and external meetings, presentations, communications, and arrangements for annual business planning. Major Duties and Responsibilities Lead the development of GPS strategy and the annual business planning process through close partnership with the GPS Leadership Team and Strategy Leads across the BMS organization. Partner with the GPS Leadership Team to ensure understanding of the priority GPS project portfolio and key initiatives. Identify, drive, and monitor priority projects and initiatives across multiple matrix partners and ensure they remain in alignment with short-term priorities and long-term GPS strategy. Drive the GPS governance framework and the setting of agendas, priorities, and objectives for the GPS Leadership Team, including management of Leadership Team meetings, business reviews, business risk management, objective setting, etc. Ensure alignment and connectivity between GPS functional and cross-functional governance bodies. Lead development of the GPS metrics for Enterprise Scorecards. Support the President with preparation for major meetings, presentations, and external audiences such as Board of Directors and Analysts. Partner with GPS Finance, HR, and Communications in establishing strategy and managing the GPS budget, workforce planning, change management plans, and communications plans. Lead network of Strategy & Operations Leads across the GPS functions. As a member of the Strategy & Business Operations (S&BO) Leadership Team, partner with the Head of Strategy & Business Operations to define strategy, priorities, and objectives and manage department meetings and communications for S&BO. Anticipate future industry trends, technology, and events which could affect GPS and identify opportunities for organizational or business model innovation. Required Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications Education: Minimum BS/BA in business or related field. Advanced degree preferred (MBA, PhD, or other graduate experience). Experience/Knowledge: 10-15 years of industry experience. Experience in strategy development at senior executive levels and business operations. Skills/Competencies: Strong financial, strategic, and business planning skills with demonstrated success in a complex matrix organization. Executive-level communication skills; ability to prioritize work with autonomy and drive results under pressure. Proven ability to act as a change agent while influencing and challenging the status quo. Successful track record of leading through influence and working effectively across global complex organizational matrices with an enterprise mindset. Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Organizational agility to quickly identify, align, and integrate cross-functional resources into cohesive ad-hoc teams.
