BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must be a Christian and a member of a church that holds to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in the New and Old Testaments of the Holy Bible. GENERAL OBJECTIVES: The Director of Enrollment Partnerships is expected to plan and implement a strategic effort to develop relationships with Churches, Camps, Christian schools, Charter schools, Homeschool Organizations, and other institutions in order to increase enrollment of these students. The Director is expected to build relationships with high schools across Texas to support dual credit enrollment by assessing the needs of high school students and partner high schools. The Director will coordinate with the Academic Director of the Pre-College Academy (PCA) to provide courses in response to those needs and provide admission and registration support services. The Director will represent DBU with current vendors, ensuring that DBU receives all benefits afforded through each contract. The Director will also research and review prospective vendors to recommend. QUALIFICATIONS: Devoted to Christ Minimum of 5 years experience in higher education Bachelor's degree Experienced in enrollment management strategies Knowledgeable in the policies and procedures of a university Self-motivated Able to operate efficiently with minimal supervision Highly organized and detail-oriented Capable communicator SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership and oversight for the expansion of the University's Pre-College Academy (PCA) in accordance with standards established by the University, the Texas Coordinating Board for Higher Education, and the SACSCOC. Oversee the recruitment and enrollment of homeschool students to ensure that the homeschool community is contributing to increasing enrollment at DBU. Bring awareness that DBU is homeschool friendly. Contribute to the achievement of the University's enrollment goals by identifying opportunities in the marketplace for expansion and collaborating with academic departments, the offices of admissions, registration, computer services, and enrollment to build a diverse and responsive dual credit program that encourages dual credit students to consider attending the University upon graduation. Oversee and work cooperatively with enrollment leadership, marketing, and PCA Academic Director staff to develop and implement effective recruitment and marketing strategies related to the PCA, including assistance with web content, preparation of publications, and distribution of brochures and catalogs. In collaboration with the PCA Academic Director, stay abreast of accreditation and institutional effectiveness relevant to the PCA program. Make regular high school visits representing the University in a professional manner, develop relationships with high schools, and utilize technology-based enrollment processes, in collaboration with the PCA Academic Director, to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and desired enrollment goals. Strive to reach enrollment goals for the PCA program as determined by the Associate Vice President for Enrollment. Track recruitment and admission patterns to identify trends and disseminate outcomes to various audiences as appropriate. Work in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Enrollment Partnerships to strengthen relationships with current church partners while seeking new relationships with new ministry partners. Initiate and conduct frequent visits to Churches, Camps, Christian schools, Charter schools, home school organizations, and other institutions to talk with administrators and students. Attend fairs and other events hosted by and for Churches, Camps, Christian schools, Charter schools, home school organizations, and other institutions. Develop and implement procedures for building relationships with Churches, Camps, Christian schools, Charter schools, home school organizations, and other institutions administrators, counselors, and other personnel. Inform the Associate Vice President for Enrollment on all recruitment and other related activities regarding Churches, Camps, Christian schools, Charter schools, home school organizations, and other institutions. Assist with all Undergraduate Admissions events, as needed. Serve as a resource person to assist with special projects as requested by the Associate Vice President for Enrollment. Plan, promote, and execute the Christian Leadership Institute. Lead in coordinating recruiting events for Pre-College Academy (PCA) students both on the high school campus and on DBU's campus. Organize and assist in the admissions/advising/registration process for dual credit homeschool and independent students. Provide support to prospective and current Honors Scholars Academy students and families. WORK SCHEDULE: Regular office hours between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, but occasionally flexible hours will be required. Registration Saturday and periodic evening or weekend special events will also be required. WORK LOCATION: This position will work on the main campus, located at 3000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
