We are looking for a Grants & Contracts Manager to oversee C4ADS’ Business Development Team. As a Grants & Contracts Manager, you will lead C4ADS’ revenue generation and donor engagement efforts, including reviewing proposals and contracts, leading engagement with priority donor audiences, advising on organizational funding strategy and project design, developing project budgets, and overseeing the full business development pipeline.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee selection, training, and professional development of Business Development team and build a culture that promotes creativity, proactivity, and excellence in supporting strategic growth. Oversee the development and submission of proposals to government and private foundation funders across C4ADS’ program areas. Advise on project design, ensuring all proposals align with C4ADS’ Mission, Program goals, and donor interests. Coordinate, track, and support Programs with growth towards their visions and revenue targets. Support development of innovative project concepts, including identification of funding audiences and development of pitches. Lead external engagements with new and existing funders to open new funding opportunities and better position C4ADS across the donor environment. Develop project budgets and complete other required financial and administrative proposal requirements. Ensure effective communication with stakeholders across the organization including Finance, Communications, Software, and Programs. Coordinate with project partners on joint proposals. Support contract review and development of sub-award agreements. Coordinate internal project setup and kickoff of new awards. Assist in monitoring C4ADS’ annual and long-term revenue goals. Ensure quality of all outgoing Business Development materials. What We’re Looking For:
Required core skills are as follows: Experience managing and mentoring a team. Experience overseeing development of funding proposals and/or complex and dynamic workflows. Experience developing project budgets. Experience managing high-level partner, donor, and/or client relationships. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. A strategic mind with the ability to tailor a narrative to a specific audience. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Strong independent initiative and personal accountability. Demonstrated interest in global affairs, transnational crime, or national security. One or more of the following skills is highly preferable: Experience with contracts management. Prior analytical or investigative experience. How We’ll Reward You:
