Profile Aon is seeking a Broker - Aviation PracticeCurrently, we have a career opportunity for a Broker in the Aviation Practice. The position is located in New York, NY. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of Aon’s team in New York City.Our global aviation experts offer risk management and broking services to the entire spectrum of the Aviation industry including but not limited to airlines, aerospace and general aviation.Your impact as a BrokerDuties and responsibilities include:Handling and maintaining, a diverse book of business across all lines of aviation.Working with other brokers and colleagues on major risks assessing client needs, designing solutions and negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain coverage that is in a client’s best interest.Identify and analyze client exposures and ensure policy coverage addresses all such exposures.Professional who develops and manages client relationships, account strategies and insurance marketing activities.Provide outstanding and timely service and support to clients and the team during entire broking process and throughout the period of engagement by client.Creation of submissions for all accounts. Ensuring submission quality to Aon Standards, including details of any midterm changes, new operations, exposure schedules, claims summaries, etc.Review and analyze quotes and binders to ensure appropriate coverageCalculating complex premium, fees, adjustments and taxes and retain a copy in the file.Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the Aviation insurance marketplace, products and services.Develop and maintain productive business relationships with key insurance underwritersRetain and grow assigned clients/prospects.Recognize and support growth goals.Adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all activities and ability to work well in a team environment.Provide support, guidance, mentoring and training to other colleaguesPerforming other duties as assignedTravel as required for client, prospect and industry events.You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:Minimum of 15 years commercial risk brokerage customer service and brokerage support experience or underwriting experienceAviation Insurance ExperienceProperty Casualty Agent-Broker LicenseComputer knowledge: Adept with Microsoft office suite: Excel, Word, PowerpointPreferred Experience:Bachelor’s Degree preferredAerospace/Products expertiseProven collaboration skillsStrong oral presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex written messagesStrong negotiation skillsStrong work ethicAnalytical skillsInternational Aviation Market KnowledgeAbility to organize a wide range of tasks from various sources and prioritize workload to meet deadlinesCommitted to delivering the highest level of customer service and qualityAbility to work independently or within a team-based environmentWillingness to work in current hybrid working model spending a specified amount of time in the office.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
