The BI Data Architect will develop and maintain solutions for Sisense (primary) and ORACLE BI (secondary) to support Printpack's transactional platforms (JDE, Salesforce, CFS, etc.) along with relevant external data sources. This role will determine the next-generation analytical platforms, databases, and integration tools. The BI Data Architect will translate business and technical requirements into Sisense, data warehouse, and ORACLE BI data models, repositories, dashboards, and report designs. The reporting solutions will leverage Sisense and ORACLE BI platforms, incorporating Oracle data warehouses, Sisense Elasticubes, ODI, SQL, and published data connectors for integrations. The role will also assist in the technical design, implementation, and migration of BI content and integrations across platforms. This position aims to align Printpack's solutions with modern BI, EDW, Data Mart, and Report standards while drafting internal best practices to support the BI Strategy outlined by Finance Technology Leadership. Minimum Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree 5-7 years of related work experience, preferably as a Senior Analyst or Associate Data Architect. Experience with Sisense, Oracle BI, ODI, SQL, AWS Redshift/Sagemaker, and Snowflake is a plus. Proven ability to establish governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing data and analytics. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Experience in BI/technical platform assessment, selection, and implementation. Proficiency in data platform migration, data architecting, data mining, large-scale data modeling, and requirements analysis. Hands-on knowledge of data tools (e.g., Oracle BI, Sisense, Power BI) and database platforms (e.g., Oracle DB, SQL DB, Snowflake). Familiarity with dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts, including star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, and facts. Strong client interaction skills to determine requirements and develop solutions. Ability to manage projects, drive process improvements, and support business decision-making. Skilled in negotiating, influencing, and gaining agreement on proposals, plans, and ideas. Key Responsibilities: Internal Consultant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Understand business requirements and convert them into detailed technical architecture and specifications. Design and develop Sisense data models and ORACLE BI/EDW RPD. Create dashboards, reports, and analyses using approved platforms. Optimize performance, debug, and tune SQL queries. Conduct technical reviews, data validation, and end-to-end testing across Sisense and Oracle BI. Enhance & Modernize BI Technology Footprint Assist in the evaluation of existing technology and explore new or maturing BI platforms. Drive additional integrations with existing or newly introduced technology (e.g., manufacturing process data, HCM data, quality systems). Develop solution paths for enhanced ML/AI capabilities. Manage BI platform onboarding and offboarding as the technology evolves. Optimize Existing BI Strategy & Planning Develop strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards in collaboration with stakeholders. Implement governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing organizational data. Improve utilization of existing BI information and implement ML/AI capabilities for advanced analytics. Collaborate with IT peers and partners to enhance BI capabilities and coordinate software upgrades, user impact assessments, and value realization. Drive BI Documentation, Development, Processes, and Support Publish and maintain BI best practices in line with industry standards. Document all BI-related efforts using standardized formats, platforms, and repositories. Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for peers, citizen developers, and end-users. Utilize standardized tools and methods to manage changes and ensure consistency. Manage Projects and Provide Guidance to BI Project Teams Coach and mentor project teams on project management methods, especially AGILE methodologies. Collaborate with Finance Technology peers to deliver analytical solutions. Coordinate SME support and internal resources for project completion.
