The Salesforce Architect provides technical leadership and architectural guidance for Salesforce solutions within the organization. In addition, they will also be responsible for guiding the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture. The Senior Salesforce Architect is responsible for ensuring that Salesforce implementations align with the overall enterprise architecture and business strategy. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners to design and oversee the implementation of scalable and robust Salesforce solutions.
Position Responsibilities May Include:
Strategic Leadership: Define and communicate a vision for the Salesforce platform in alignment with the company's overall IT and business strategy. Architectural Oversight: Lead the architectural design, development, and deployment of the Salesforce platform solutions. Ensure best practices are followed and architectural standards are adhered to. Strategic Planning: Define the strategy and vision for Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and IT strategies. Solution Design: Lead the conceptualization, design, and delivery of Salesforce solutions, addressing complex business problems and technical challenges. Oversee the design of integrated solutions that may span multiple platforms and applications, ensuring inter-operability and scalability. Provides leadership and mentors a team of Salesforce architects, ensuring continuous skill development, workload balance, and overall team health. Leads efforts with defining project scope and timing. Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and IT teams to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions. Conduct and lead regular meetings with Leadership on Salesforce status and related issues that need awareness or resolution. Stay Updated: Monitor Salesforce's evolving capabilities and trends in the ecosystem. Ensure the organization maximizes the value from updates and new features. Governance: Establish and enforce Salesforce architectural standards, guidelines, best practices, and approved patterns. Performance Tuning: Ensure solutions are optimized for performance and user experience. Integration:
Leads the integration of Salesforce with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality. Documentation:
Ensure that all architectural decisions, standards, and methodologies are properly documented. Risk Management:
Identify potential technical risks and provide mitigation strategies. Vendor Management:
Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure cohesive integration and alignment with architectural standards. Mentors and develops team members to prepare them for greater responsibility within the organization Perform other tasks as assigned Nature & Scope:

Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its capabilities, limitations, and integration patterns. Strong working knowledge with MS Office - Excel, Outlook, Word, & PowerPoint Excellent leadership skills - ability to develop, delegate, engage, mentor and performance management Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills Proven ability to develop and manage critical relationships Ability to influence and collaborate with teams and individuals Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of other enterprise IT systems, middleware, and database technologies. Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Experience:
Proven experience in a leadership role related to Salesforce or other CRM platform architecture. 15+ Years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem is preferred, with 7 years of management experience 3+ years of experience leading and developing team Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns and best practices with extensive experience designing solutions, leading architectural discussions May hold advanced certifications such as Salesforce Certified Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Certified Domain Architect Education/Certification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect) are highly desired.
