Detailed Description: This is a full-time, temporary, benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of January 1, 2027.The appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding. The Program Coordinator for the Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, at the University of San Diego, will play an important role in coordinating the day-to-day operations, programs and activities of the Center. The Program Coordinator will oversee administrative tasks, manage key programs and projects, maintain records and data, and support the efforts of a variety of initiatives within the Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the social innovation and entrepreneurship enterprise through academic programming and events, experiential learning, and a variety of other engaging opportunities. The Program Coordinator will be essential to the Center’s success, encompassing responsibilities that range from stakeholder engagement, program management, data entry, and event planning. Working closely with the Center’s Senior Director, the Program Coordinator will ensure the successful launch of our Social Innovation Internship Program by overseeing planning, implementation, managing records of stakeholder engagement (business leaders and students), and tracking program success. Support the ongoing development and success of the Center’s core initiatives, including but not limited to the Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge, The Brink Small Business Development Center, the San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative, and the University of San Diego Collection on Innovation and Impact. Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the Social Innovation Internship Program: In collaboration with the Senior Director and Office of Career Services, plan and implement all aspects of the Social Innovation Internship Program. Serve as the primary recruiter and contact for student interns and businesses participating in the program, ensuring high satisfaction levels. Lead and coordinate meetings with stakeholders, including Conscious Capitalism San Diego, B-Local San Diego, and other partners. Track all requisite data, including surveys, related to the program’s grant. Coordinate Center Logistics: Provide high-level support to the Center’s various programs. Manage student volunteers and Federal Work Study students. Coordinate faculty, student, and community stakeholder meetings and events for the Center. Coordinate with the Faculty Director on the engagement of University of San Diego faculty and thought leaders. Prepare expense reimbursements and track expenditures for the Center. Draft various communications and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Organize and maintain Center website and social media, in collaboration with Graduate Assistants and Federal Work-Study students. Other related duties as assigned. Support Venture Competitions: Provide support for campus-wide entrepreneurship endeavors, including specific venture activities and competitions. Coordinate and train staff, students, and volunteers working at events. Special Conditions of Employment: Background check:

Degree Verification Requirement : Persons offered employment in this position will be required to provide official education transcripts for degree verification purposes. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Three years of progressively responsible program and project management and development, preferably with impact and mission focused organizations. Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills. Demonstrated initiative and experience independently managing complex projects with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Social Innovation, Business Administration, Sustainability, Education, etc.). Experience in higher education or a university setting. Knowledge of social innovation and entrepreneurship principles. Experience with event planning and coordination of multiple stakeholders on a large scale. Experience managing and developing individuals and a team. Familiarity with CRM software and project management tools. Performance Expectations- Knowledge, Skills andAbilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience managing administrative systems. Possess skills of tact, poise, communication skills, diplomacy, and hospitality. Computer fluency and proficiency in the use of the internet, databases, and web-based products (Gmail, Google Drive, Canva, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). $26.46 - $34.04 per hour; Excellent Benefits
