Do you possess donor and/or fundraising experience? This non-profit is seeking a Development Specialist to research donor prospects, maintain active relationships with the current donor base, draft compelling marketing material related to fundraising efforts, and administratively support the development team. The ideal Development Specialist is great with people, can pivot with meticulous attention to data management, and enjoys working with others. About the Job: Provide scheduling management across a team, maintaining an organized calendar and staying privy to differing leadership preferences. Manage travel booking needs for the development team and track following expense reports. Using strong data management skills, operate across platforms with donor information, grant-related processes, and general budget management. Work with key team members to draft and finalize outbound communication regarding fundraising efforts and information posted to social media, websites, and other external outlets. Assist with donor management, including providing strong customer service to build and maintain relationships with existing and new donor contacts. Draft, edit, and finalize written documents and reports related to gifting, tracking and expense reports, and follow-up fundraising materials. Track the donor management system and internal database with a fine-tooth comb. Research new development opportunities and compile preparation materials for meetings. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity. About You: Degreed. You possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least two-to-four years of experience in development or fundraising. Articulate.
