A law firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, including both litigation and advisory work, and possess robust academic credentials. This role involves handling a variety of employment-related legal issues, providing guidance to clients, and representing them in legal proceedings. Duties and Responsibilities

Represent clients in employment law matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and employment contracts. Provide legal advice and guidance on employment law compliance, including issues related to workplace policies, employee handbooks, and regulatory requirements. Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance packages, and settlement agreements. Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and motions. Represent clients in administrative proceedings before agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Department of Labor (DOL). Handle employment law litigation, including preparing for and conducting depositions, hearings, and trials. Develop and implement legal strategies to address and resolve employment disputes. Stay updated on changes in employment law and industry trends to provide informed legal counsel. Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to address complex employment law issues. Requirements

5+ years of experience in employment law, including litigation and advisory roles. Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school. Proven ability to handle a wide range of employment law issues and represent clients effectively. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and court appearances. Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications

Admission to the State Bar in North Carolina and good standing. Skills
