Duties and Responsibilities: Manage trademark prosecution and counseling for domestic and international clients. Draft, review, and manage litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other related filings. Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide strategic advice on trademark registration. Represent clients in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings and federal court litigation. Review creative assets for compliance with FTC and other advertising laws. Develop and execute strategies for resolving trademark disputes and protecting intellectual property rights. Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to provide comprehensive trademark and litigation services. Stay updated on developments in trademark and intellectual property laws and regulations. Requirements: 3-4 years of experience in trademark prosecution, counseling, and litigation within a law firm setting. Proven track record in managing trademark clearance and prosecution domestically and globally. Experience in drafting and reviewing litigation documents and handling federal court cases. Direct experience with TTAB proceedings. Strong understanding of FTC and advertising compliance. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the State Bar of Georgia (or eligibility for admission). Skills: Expertise in trademark and intellectual property law. Proficiency in federal court litigation, including drafting and reviewing legal documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with copyright law (preferred). Proficiency in Spanish (preferred).
