About the Role:
We are looking for strong Lead Financial Analysts to grow our GTM Finance team. The GTM Finance team is responsible for driving key areas of the company’s financial and related data through analytics, modeling, business partnerships, and visualization of results. The team provides analysis supporting a wide range of business issues and manages financial processes such as planning, forecasting, C-Suite reporting, Board of Directors reporting, and performance tracking. As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will be the finance partner for our Post Sales org. You will generate insights into business performance and provide Motive’s leadership team with effective decision-making support. You will have C-level visibility, specifically partnering with our Chief Customer Officer and his direct reports. What You'll Do:
Partner with Post Sales leadership to maintain monthly/quarterly/annual forecasts. Conduct monthly budget vs actual variance analyses to share results and actionable insights with your business partners. Develop a deep understanding of the Post Sales org, including churn, opportunities, hiring, reporting, ARR analysis, and Capacity Modeling. Assist in modeling, developing, reporting, and automating key SaaS performance metrics, reporting tools, and dashboards to help drive revenue and optimize efficiency. Assist with the preparation of external materials, including quarterly financials, key metric datasets, and other ad hoc investor requests. Create, maintain, and review complex financial models in Excel/Google Sheets as well as Adaptive Insights. Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements and automation to streamline current processes across the company. What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Finance-related field (FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting) with exposure to Accounting or Corporate Finance concepts through direct college coursework or work experience. Experience with SaaS metrics and GAAP accounting concepts. Expert in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; hands-on experience preferred. Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce; Adaptive and SQL experience is highly recommended. Problem-solving/analytical mindset, organized, and able to manage multiple initiatives at once. Experience in technologies like Snowflake or Tableau is a plus. Excellent verbal and written skills. You collaborate effectively with other teams and communicate clearly about your work.
