Location NHQ Purpose The Manager of Connected Car Project Delivery is responsible for planning and overseeing the development and delivery of various Connected Car projects. Major Responsibilities Works with HMA business divisions, Hyundai R&D and IT partners to ideate, evaluate priority, evaluate development cost for the development and delivery of various Connected Car Projects. Collect high-level business requirements from the business units to identify business need and assist in solution development to accomplish defined objectives. Lead Connected Car projects through ideation, pre-planning, funding and testing. Assist in strategy development for Business Capability enhancement. Manage contractors to capture business requirements and develop test scripts for user acceptance testing. Tracking and overseeing Business projects and working with our IT partner to deliver enhancements on time. Analyze current connected car data, feature usage and competitive position to develop strategies to improve customer experience. Monitor, document, analyze and escalate quality issues in close alignment with Quality Engineering team. Partner with Business Owners, PMs and 3rd Parties to manager multiple projects, monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions. Debug and diagnose issues to perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with development engineers. Represent the team in various Vehicle Audit testing meetings - Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring defect status and finalizing vehicle implementation schedules and feature validation reports for the stakeholders. Working independently and managing multiple priorities and assisting Sr. Mgr to focus on tasks that need intervention. Major Responsibilities (continued) Authority This position has common manager-level authority as defined by HMA HR/Finance policy. Employment decision-making abilities in designated area of responsibility. Education Must be a high school graduate Bachelor's degree preferred Related Experience Six or more years of professional experience with at least two years specifically in IT project management required. Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and vendors required. Two or more years of business system analyst experience a plus Connected car or connected devices experience a plus Automotive experience is a plus. PMP certification a plus Skills/Knowledge Strong leadership and interpersonal relationship skills, especially with cross-functional teams. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Works well independently with little to moderate direction. Ability to manage programs, projects, and suppliers. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to query and analyze data and perform statistics. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Certification N/A. Physical Requirements Normal office duties Overnight travel required Work Model LI-Hybrid (60% Onsite/40% Remote) Affiliate Hyundai Compensation $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 Annual Benefits Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance) Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
