NHQ Purpose
The primary purpose of the Sr. Manager, Product Cost Management (EVs), is to align HMGMA plant and Americas Strategic Regions’ Total Delivery Cost (TdC) targets by models in each product milestone, and to manage lifecycle profitability of key EV models from HMGMA. Support initial cost stabilization of key new launches in HMGMA plant. Monitor performance after launch and make recommendations to maximize profit improvement opportunities. Serve as the Voice of Americas SR’s product teams and advise PDO leadership on all product performance matters and manufacturing plants to meet product planning and sales targets. Major Responsibilities
Support initial stabilization of HMGMA by establishing cost reduction management and revenue improvement plan for main EV models produced in the first and second year. Adjust expected future EV lineup and review the optimization plan of HMGMA operation aligned with the latest market demands dynamics and relevant political landscape. Monitor any government and regulatory incentive/constraint programs, detailed requirements, and our EV beneficiary conditions. Monitor battery price, raw material cost and analyze the estimated impact of EV cost and countermeasures. Align Americas SR Performance with TdC Target and develop countermeasures to minimize any discrepancies. Expand PD Office practice to other regional HQs in Hyundai. Authority

Must be a high school graduate. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Master’s degree a plus. Related Experience
Eight or more years of professional experience in automotive manufacturer/distributor with direct product responsibilities (planning, marketing, and/or sales). Minimum three years of supervisory experience desired. Cross-functional team management experience is required. Skills/Knowledge
Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency. Good organizational and data mining skills. Effective communication skills. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to simplify complex issues, develop compelling point of view, and persuasively make case for change leading to action. Outstanding written & verbal presentation skills required for external and Senior Leadership interactions. Strong automotive technology knowledge. Physical Requirements

#LI-Hybrid (60% Onsite/40% Remote) Compensation
$107,800.00 - $154,000.00 Annual Benefits
Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance). Holiday Pay- the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years. Vacation and sick time off.
