Travel Surg Tech - $1,496 per week in San Bernardino, CA

Job Title: Surgical Technician Job Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Technician Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8H Days, Monday to Friday, 0645-1515 Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Required Certifications: BLS, CST Must-Have: Ortho, Spine, and Robotic Experience Job Description: - Work in a unit with 4 OR suites - Handle approximately 300 cases per month - Maintain a 1:1 ratio - Use the Cerner Surginet EMR system - Participate in a weekend call rotation: 48-hour call once per month, 8-16 hour call per week, with a mandatory Friday call once per month - Maintain a call response time of 30 minutes - Work holidays as needed, with mandatory 24-hour call generally required - Scrub color provided - GE Tele (no vents) - Collaborate with on-call surgeons after hours - No IV Team available - RT available 24/7 - Pharmacy staffed from 7 am to midnight, with an omnicell for after hours - Flexibility required for shifts: 5:30 am-2 pm, 9 am-5:30 pm, 10:30 am-6 pm, 11 am-7 pm (all shifts required) - Float to OB OR for c-sections only - Complete floor-specific orientation, averaging 2-3 shifts - Common types of cases: general, gyn, ortho, ENT, minimal urology, no total joints or neuro, some sports medicine, eyes (preferred experience) - Hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract, with options to pay full hours instead of cancellation Note: Please ensure flexibility with work shifts and attendance for holiday calls as required.
