Travel Surg Tech - $1,484 per week in San Bernardino, CA

Job Title: Surgical Technologist Job Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Technician Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with call 1 night per week and 24 hours of weekend call during the month Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Must-Have: - Robotics experience - Preferably CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) and C-section experience Job Description: - Work in an OR with 8 suites, including 2 designed for CVOR. - Participate in a high-volume surgical environment with over 700 open heart surgeries and nearly 2,400 orthopedic cases annually, including 350 joint replacements. - Scrubbing is required for the role, with the expectation to handle general ortho, neuro, urology, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and robotics cases. - Assist in CVOR procedures including open heart, TAVR, and AVR valve replacements. - Utilize the EMR system, Cerner Surginet. - Expectation to work most holidays as part of a rotation. - Call response time is required within 30-60 minutes. - Scrubs are provided by the department; however, business casual or navy scrubs must be worn when arriving and departing the facility. - No floating required; specific orientation for the floor lasts up to 3 days. - Hospital management retains the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per contract. - Collaborate with a team that includes a charge nurse, with breaks relieved by the charge nurse.
