ABOUT YOU

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief People Officer acts as a strategic advisor to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Executive Director and Executive Management in developing, implementing and maintaining Massport's strategic plan for human resources to support the organization's mission and vision. Oversees all Human Resources functions to include talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee experience, employee development and training, benefits administration, reward and recognition programs, employee retention, employee engagement, employee relations, compensation, succession planning, performance management, leave management, policy development, work/life balance programs (health/wellness), compliance, records retention, HRMS and time & attendance systems, retiree benefits, employee communications. Serves as a change agent and leader in process improvement to support the Authority's goals and objectives. Collaborates closely with Departments of Labor Relations and Diversity Equity & Inclusion on people-related matters. The Chief People Officer's primary accountabilities include:

Talent acquisition Workforce planning Employee experience Employee development and training Benefits administration Reward and recognition programs Employee retention and engagement Employee relations Compensation Succession planning Performance management Leave management Policy development Work/life balance programs (health/wellness) Compliance, records retention, HRMS and time & attendance systems Retiree benefits Employee communications The Chief People Officer currently has three direct reports including:

Deputy Director, Human Resources Deputy Director of Organizational Development and Employee Relations Assistant Director of Benefits and Wellness/HRMS WHAT YOU OFFER

Required Qualifications & Experience:

10-15 years of broad-based Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 7 years in a senior Human Resources role.

Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred. SHRM-SCP or HCRI SPHR certification required. Additional certifications from accredited university programs or recognized HR institutions preferred.
