Worker’s Compensation Attorney
Our client, a prominent law firm with a strong focus on worker’s compensation law, is seeking a dedicated and driven Worker’s Compensation Attorney to join their Virginia team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated attorney to grow their career in a firm known for its client-centric approach and commitment to excellence in advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of worker’s compensation claims from inception to resolution.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to worker’s compensation cases.
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and appeals before the Worker’s Compensation Commission.
- Conduct case research and provide strategic legal counsel to clients.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on case strategy and legal planning.
- Minimum billable hours requirement of 1850 annually.
- 1-3 years of experience handling worker’s compensation matters or relevant litigation experience.
- Bar licensed in Virginia, in good standing.
- Residency in Herndon, Virginia, or a willingness to relocate to the area.
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
