Head of Investor Relations

Title: Vice President of Investor Relations - Biotech

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader for the crucial position of VP of Investor Relations. As a VP of Investor Relations, you will work closely with company leadership to set IR strategy, handle inquiries, and strategically position the company with shareholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with c-suite to create robust investor relations strategies, acting as a liaison between investors, analysts, and company executives.
2. Communicate financial performance, operational activities, and company vision, developing investor confidence.
3. Manage inquiries from shareholders, analysts, and investors regarding investment-related matters.
4. Conduct market analysis and present data on market trends, competitors, and shareholders.
5. Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, policies, and regulations.

Skills Required:

1. 20+ years of experience, including working in-house investor relations.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of the life sciences industry.
3. Buy-side or sell-side experience preferred.
4. Strong presentation skills and understanding of financial modeling & valuation.
5. A bachelor's degree required; an MBA or post-graduate degree is an asset.
