Responsibilities
The Program Associate will facilitate critical administrative support and customer service to Career Center stakeholders, career counseling clients, and manage Professional Photo Booth in the first-floor lobby. The Program Associate coordinates daily functions of the Career Advising, Counseling, and Instruction team which serves 13,000+ student visits each year. Supervises the training and development of OPS staff and Federal Work Study students who support Career Advising, Counseling, and Instruction daily operations, as well as supports 10 staff/faculty and 12 sections of SDS 3340 per academic year. This role will be fully in-person to oversee first-floor customer service operations which include staffing the front desk and supervising student assistants.
This position will lead efforts in partnership with other Program Associates to provide customer service training and streamline customer service for all student assistants across three floors at the Career Center. This includes updating and maintaining the 30+ page student assistant training guide, a quick guide for answering phone calls, and a list of duties and responsibilities for student workers. In addition, this role will manage the Professional Photobooth station system which provides professional-grade photographs for students and other visitors to the Career Center. Train and supervise OPS staff to provide strong customer service, public reception and information referral functions based upon individual student/visitor needs. Answer main Career Center telephone line, greet drop-in career advising clients, and answer/route communications. Support career advising, counseling, and instruction functions as needed (e.g., photocopying, filing, and other clerical tasks). Provide such services in the absence of OPS Staff.
Manage the daily appointment schedule for Doctoral Practicum students and M.S. Eds students.; including contacting clients with reminder calls, room/space reservations, and managing unique Zoom links. Handle and maintain confidential client information.
Assist Assistant Director(s) with grading of the asynchronous Canvas courses such as Build Your Foundation, Career Ready, and Career Docs.
Collaborate with career center staff to manage and update a library over 100 in-house publications.
Provide clerical support to Career, Advising, Counseling and Instruction staff and collaborate with other Program Associates to provide support to all career center staff.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience. (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)
A valid FL or GA Driver's License.

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated salary for this position is $36,250, commensurate with education and experience.
