Responsibilities
The Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software in the Career Center. This role involves responding to queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and implementing solutions to resolve technical issues. The Helpdesk Technician will be the first point of contact in the Career Center for end users seeking technical assistance.
This position requires compliance with university confidentiality policies. The Helpdesk Technician will work closely with the Career Center team to support and troubleshoot technology, assist with special events, and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Experience in a Microsoft networking environment.
Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and standard office equipment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a high-paced environment.
Experience using a ticket tracking system.
Preferred Qualifications
CURRENT FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT PREFERRED.
Experience in Active Directory user administration.
At least one year of customer service experience
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and follow directions
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users

Anticipated Salary Range
The Salary for this OPS Part-Time Position is $15.00 Per Hour.
