The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable Factoring, Forex, Supply Chain Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Working Capital, and Credit Risk. Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage company-wide financial operations including Debt Capital Management, AR Factoring, Forex, SCF, Working Capital, and Credit Risk.
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans to align with company objectives.
- Manage relationships with financial service providers, including banks and investment advisors.
- Oversee the treasury function, ensuring liquidity for operational needs, managing bank relationships, and optimizing the company's financial leverage.
- Develop and implement robust financial risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions.
- Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
- Continually improve the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the Energy industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience in AR Factoring, Forex, SCF, Working Capital, and Credit Risk.
- Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
- Proficient in using financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or related advanced degree is a plus.
- Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to see the big picture and also dive into the unique, detailed aspects of financial management.
