We are searching for a Director of Finance, Banking, and Treasury to join our dynamic team in the Energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance leader with a proven track record of managing financial operations and strategies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company, including but not limited to:
- Accounts Receivable Factoring
- Forex
- Supply Chain Finance
- Debt Capital Markets
- Working Capital
- Credit Risk
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans to align with company objectives.
- Manage relationships with financial service providers, including banks and investment advisors.
- Oversee the treasury function, ensuring liquidity for operational needs, managing bank relationships, and optimizing the company's financial leverage.
- Develop and implement robust financial risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions.
- Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
- Continually improve the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the Energy industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience in AR Factoring, Forex, SCF, Working Capital, and Credit Risk.
- Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
- Proficient in using financial software and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven ability to see the big picture and also dive into the unique, detailed aspects of financial management.
