Our client located in North Houston is looking for an IT Support Technician to join their team! Competitive salary, benefits, and requires some travel.
Job Summary: Provide troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network issues, escalating problems when necessary. Help users with technical issues via phone, email, or in person, ensuring timely resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction. Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems, software, and peripherals. Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations in the ticketing system. Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations. Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures, addressing any vulnerabilities as identified. Assist in managing IT inventory, including hardware and software assets. Job Requirements:
Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Bachelor's Degree highly preferred. 2-4 years of experience in IT support or a related role required. Proficient in Windows operating systems. Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting. Knowledge of IT security principles and practices. Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus.
