Essential Functions

Project Management •Oversees and directs technology initiatives from inception to completion across the project lifecycle. •Exhibits prudent decision-making by weighing values, assessing risks, and contemplating the consequences and outcomes of actions. •Forecasts potential risks and removes barriers to ensure the project's successful execution. •Designs and develops a timeline, ensuring tasks are suitably assigned to team members according to their skills and roles. •Monitors cost and staffing requirements for the project. •Regularly delivers key metrics, data analytics, and progress updates to executive management to inform decision-making and strategic planning. •Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs. •Resolves complex, controversial, or unprecedented issues and problems. •Ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. •Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation. •Monitors project progress to evaluate the achievement of both immediate and extended objectives. This involves a detailed analysis of the project's milestones to ensure they align with the established goals, facilitating a comprehensive assessment of its success over time.

Vendor/Stakeholder relations •Oversees project execution, working in tandem with the vendor's project coordinator/manager to ensure a collaborative and effective effort. •Works in partnership with multi-disciplinary leadership and teams in various departments to develop innovative solutions, address challenges, and adjust strategies when faced with conflicting policies and priorities. •Recognizes potential obstacles and collaborates with executive sponsors or project leaders to overcome impediments. •Coordinates project change management efforts with communication and training leads. •Provide comprehensive oversight, offer training and resources, ensure support, and maintain clear communication with all assigned team members. •Facilitate governance committee discussions at all levels in the escalation process to ensure timely decisions for the project

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from an accredited institution, and at least 2 years of IT project management experience OR 5 years of IT Project Management experience. Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals. Outstanding leadership, organizational, and time management skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong people skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration

ERP Project Management experience in Higher Education.

Certifications: Project Management Professional ( PMP ); Professional in Project Management ( PPM ); Certified Project Manager ( CPM - IAPM )

Work Hours

Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
