General Description of the Position
The Marketing and Communications Analyst will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies and communication plans to support the Consortium's mission and goals. This position is responsible for managing the creation and dissemination of marketing materials, analyzing campaign performance, and ensuring consistent messaging across platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset combined with creative marketing expertise, ensuring the Consortium effectively reaches its diverse audience of students, partners, and stakeholders. Essential Functions & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Marketing Strategy and Campaign Management:
Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, student engagement, and enrollment for the Consortium. Coordinate multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, web, and print. Monitor campaign progress and adjust strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
Content Creation and Branding:
Create compelling and targeted content for various platforms, such as newsletters, website updates, press releases, and social media posts. Ensure all communications align with the Consortium's branding guidelines and values.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive positioning. Analyze marketing campaign performance metrics and generate actionable insights to improve effectiveness.
Internal and External Communications:
Collaborate with partner institutions and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging. Manage communications with prospective students, partners, and other key audiences through newsletters, announcements, and other channels.
Event Promotion and Coordination:
Support the planning and promotion of virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, info sessions, and stakeholder meetings. Ensure effective communication strategies are in place to maximize event visibility and impact, attendance and engagement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in digital marketing, including email campaigns, SEO, and social media advertising and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media analytics, and CRM platforms). Strong writing and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences. Strategic thinking and attention to detail. Analytical mindset to interpret data and drive decision-making. Strong organizational and project management skills. Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus. Qualification Standards
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in higher education or online learning. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content for diverse audiences. Strong organizational and project management skills.
