Business Growth Manager We're looking for an enthusiastic and analytical growth manager to join our team at Nexus. In this role, you'll drive strategic insights and support the development of innovative solutions in verifiable computation. You’ll collaborate with our top cryptographers, engineers, and business leaders to shape partnerships, explore market opportunities, and support business strategies. About Nexus The Nexus Project is a scientific and engineering effort bringing truth to the field of computation. We’re enabling bringing to life a new form of compute: verifiable computation, powered by open science and open-source software so it can benefit everyone. Our work aims to bring to life decades of advancements in zero-knowledge cryptography, achieved by many scientists, engineers, and mathematicians, into a single software system. Nexus raised $25M in Series A funding, co-led by Lightspeed and Pantera, with participation from Dragonfly, SV Angel and more. Our team consists of some of the world's top cryptographers, mathematicians, and engineers, all working together with one goal: to unite the world's computers and prove humanity's computations. We are headquartered in San Francisco, and this role will be in-person, with the rest of the Nexus team. Responsibilities: Performance Analysis and Engagement: Collaborate on and execute strategies to acquire, retain, and engage users, including community growth, referral programs, content marketing, and campaigns. Partner Driven Growth: Help to identify and cultivate key relationships with partners in the zero knowledge/Web3 and Web2 spaces in driving ecosystem growth and adoption. Market and Competitive Analysis: Research industry trends and market segments to identify growth opportunities, providing benchmarking, strategic insights, and competitive positioning. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align growth strategies with product launches and ecosystem initiatives. Community Engagement: Collaborate with marketing and community teams to grow and engage the Nexus community across platforms like Twitter, Discord, and Telegram. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree 1-3 years of experience in business development, growth, business analyst or similar role, ideally within the technology, blockchain, or data center services sectors. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and distill insights that drive strategic decisions. Research Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in conducting industry and competitive research, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate findings, prepare reports, and present insights to stakeholders. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and projects. Problem-Solving Mindset: Able to think critically, approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, and offer innovative ideas. Nice to haves MBA Web3 Knowledge: Familiarity with zero knowledge, blockchain technology and ecosystems. Crypto Tokenomics Exposure: Experience or understanding of tokenomics principles and economic modeling in blockchain. Technical Skills: Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel, SQL) and knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Investor Relations Support: Exposure to investor relations or experience in supporting investment processes and stakeholder communications. Strategic Insights: Knowledge of market segmentation and competitive tracking, particularly in Web3; background in the energy, data center management or operation sector is a plus. Passion for Innovation: A strong interest in the evolving Web3 ecosystem and its impact on traditional industries.
