Finance & Accounting Group, Finance & Accounting Group > Finance General Summary: Responsible for costing and inventory month end closing activities and report.
Work with various teams for physical inventory checks and monitor cycle count and reconciliations items.
Compute and analyze transfer pricing for intercompany transactions.
Monitoring of scrap disposal and stock adjustment forms to ensure no wastage in material & resources.
Prepares and performs assessment on Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis report, review and monitor the E&O inventory provision.
Material maintenance and analysis.
Ad hoc projects in relation to process improvement of inventory management workflow.
Involves in SOX and internal control topics, liaise with external auditor for SOX compliance.
Ad hoc tasks.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications.
Relevant experience in cost accounting and inventory management in the manufacturing industry.
Other skills/abilities/knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office skills and SAP knowledge.
Good technical knowledge in accounting standards (USGAAP and FRS).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-driven with good business acumen.
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
