Responsibilities:
Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions. Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients. Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses. Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions. Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws. Lead high-value personal injury cases from inception to resolution, including preparing for and attending trials and mediations. Mentor junior attorneys and staff, sharing your litigation expertise and guiding them through the legal process. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses. Argue motions in court and represent clients in all aspects of legal proceedings. Stay up-to-date with relevant state, local, and federal statutes to provide the best possible legal counsel. Collaborate with other senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and ensure exceptional client service. Qualifications:
Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills. Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision. Completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree, as well as a 3-year law degree from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations. 5 years of required experience as a senior associate in the legal field. Experienced Litigator:
At least 5 years of experience managing personal injury cases in trials and mediations. Leadership & Mentorship:
A natural mentor with a track record of coaching junior attorneys and collaborating with colleagues. Independent & Driven:
Capable of handling your own caseload with minimal supervision, while maintaining excellent time management. Client-Focused:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to advocate for clients with compassion and diligence. Licensed in Colorado:
Must be in good standing with the State Bar and licensed to practice in Colorado. Compensation:
$100,000 - $120,000 + performance-based commissions
