Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting the US Courts OSCAR program. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Single Sign-On (SSO) processes and a proven track record of team leadership. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring secure, seamless, and scalable SSO implementations. You will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing user authentication processes while leading a team of analysts and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of SSO solutions for the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
- Evaluate and document existing authentication systems and recommend enhancements.
- Collaborate with IT and Security teams to integrate SSO with third-party applications and platforms.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for SSO-related projects.
- Develop use cases, workflows, and process maps to support the SSO lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Oversee the team’s workload, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Provide guidance on best practices, tools, and techniques for effective business analysis.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of SSO initiatives with organizational goals.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on SSO or identity and access management systems.
- 2+ years of experience leading a team of business analysts or similar roles.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SSO technologies (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and tools (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, Azure AD).
- Demonstrated experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and workflow analysis.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
- Experience working in agile and waterfall project environments.
Desired Skills
- Strong background in data analysis and reporting, with experience using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) as they relate to SSO deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and standards (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Experience with international deployments of SSO solutions across geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party SSO solutions.
