Compensations: College Credit available - This position is non-paid.

Status: Part-time seasonal | Full Season

Start Date: January 2025 (flexible with academic schedule)

End Date: September 2025 (flexible with academic schedule)

Hours Expected to Work: Hours differ day to day, depending on gameday vs non-gameday

Job Description:

The Stadium Operations Intern will be assisting the Director of Stadium Operations with any maintenance, events, management, or gameday needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Stadium Operations for Truist Stadium
  • Cultivate relationships with all outside vendors and inspectors
  • Cultivate relationships with gameday staff
  • Organize and direct gameday meetings with other interns about gameday duties
  • Oversee day-to-day setup of the stadium for all events and games
  • Oversee setup and operation of the Kid's Zone
  • Work in coordination of Security and Medical services at the ballpark
  • Assist with management of our Janitorial department
  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance of the ballpark
  • Work all Dash home games and stadium events during internship
  • Represent the organization at business and community networking functions
  • Assist with event planning, management, and follow up
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Currently working towards a 4-year college degree
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, establish goals, and willingness to contribute to a team environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
  • Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work extended hours March-September


Training:

All new hires in the Winston-Salem Operations department will be thoroughly trained on all job duties and responsibilities required. You will receive training and skills needed to be successful with the Winston-Salem Dash or any other professional team.
