ROLE: Associate, Investment Operations
REPORTING TO: Director, Investment Operations
Role Summary
The Associate position offers an opportunity to serve as a key member of our centralized investment operations team focused on private fund investments, separately managed accounts, client relationships, AML/KYC requirements, and transaction execution. The role requires strong attention to detail and a high degree of operational and process acumen.
In This Role, You Will:
Work independently and prioritize tasks based on urgency and deadlines.
Coordinate with necessary parties as needed (including relevant counterparties, custodians, portfolio managers, client teams, research, and Legal & Compliance) to ensure seamless processing of transactions.
Communicate directly with clients in a timely manner.
Independently complete fund subscription documents on behalf of clients.
Independently complete custodian new account opening forms for clients.
Timely and accurately execute investment operations (i.e. transaction processing, investment funding, cash transfers, facilitate securities trades, wire set-up, standing letters of authorization, etc.) in accordance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate the collection of AML/KYC documents for client investment in funds with external clients and internal teams, applying judgment in response to specific manager requests.
Using appropriate judgment, escalate issues and inaccuracies to the Principal of Investment Operations.

Have a bachelor’s degree and one to three years of financial services experience, with exposure to the areas of investment operations, fund administration, data governance, and/or investment management.

PAY TRANSPARENCY:
Hall Capital’s expected starting base compensation range for the position as of the time of this posting is $90,000 – $105,000 per year. The actual base compensation selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) experience, education, specialty and training. The successful candidate(s) may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus award.
