Full Job Description:
Position Summary:
Responsible for collecting patient specimens for clinical analysis. Specimens include blood, body fluid and cultures.
Significant Duties:
- Perform venipunctures using various techniques.
- Perform capillary collections.
- Obtain culture specimens from various sources.
- Instruct patients on proper collection of off-site specimens.
- Research specimen requirements for referred tests.
- Inventory and requisition phlebotomy supplies.
- Print patient billing information.
- Attend and actively participate in department meetings.

Qualifications:
- Ability and skill required to manage difficult situations
- Ability to maintain professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to do multiple tasks in an ever-changing environment
- Must be fully covid-19 vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated.
