Job Description
The Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support for the CCO Accounts Payable staff including routine and non-routine functions in accounts payable and general accounting. The successful candidate must be a team player who possesses a positive attitude and is self-motivated, energetic, detail-oriented, organized, analytical and resourceful. He/she must be able to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and exercise independent thought to constantly challenge and improve the status quo.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accounts payable files in an organized manner
- Maintain good working relationships with internal customers
- Assist with audit requests and data requests
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Cutting manual checks and matching appropriate documentation
- Stuffing and mailing checks
- Filing invoices
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
- Experience with Epicor and QuickBooks accounting systems preferred
- Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
