R.E. Beckner Construction, inc., is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of equipment including loaders, skid steers, dozers, excavators, and rollers. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery on various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers, excavators, and rollers.
- Perform pre-checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in other construction-related duties as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work locations: Offices based out of Pinellas and Citrus Counties with jobs located throughout the central west Florida region.
