We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Human Resources industry, located in LIVONIA, Michigan. The role invites a HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of HR strategies, maintaining HR compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees on HR-related inquiries, providing guidance on company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers, developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
• Support the execution of the company’s performance management process, providing coaching and support to managers on performance feedback and employee development plans.
• Identify employee development needs and work with the HR team to implement training programs that support career progression and skill development.
• Ensure compliance with relevant HR laws and regulations, and assist in preparing HR-related reports and audits.
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by assisting in the planning and execution of company-wide events and recognition programs.
• Handle HR administration tasks such as updating employee records, managing HRIS systems, and administering benefits.
• Collaborate with the HR Business Partners to drive HR strategies aligned with business objectives, contributing to the successful execution of HR programs.• Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role
• Proficient in executing Benefit Functions and managing Employee Relations
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated experience in Compliance within a HR context
• Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provisions and applications
• Prior experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration tasks
• Proven ability to handle Onboarding processes effectively
• Experience in Corporate Recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection
• Knowledge and understanding of Termination processes and procedures
