We are in search of a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team in the Social Care/Services industry based in Los Angeles, California. As an HR Coordinator, you will be tasked with handling the administrative tasks of the Human Resources Department, supporting the Director of Talent Management and Engagement, and assisting with various projects. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Administer day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department
• Assist with the preparation of training materials, manuals, and PowerPoint presentations for complex projects
• Manage electronic personnel files in alignment with licensing requirements, labor laws, and other federal or state regulations
• Generate regular reports, including but not limited to in-service statements, licenses, certifications, extensions list, I-9 verification, vehicle identification, badge list, etc.
• Support the processing of new hires by scheduling pre-employment appointments, tracking pre-employment background clearances, and updating status within Paycom
• Conduct audits and provide data and information for internal and external audits
• Maintain and audit a badge system in PremiSys to ensure accurate and current information
• Provide administrative support to the Director of Talent Management and Engagement• Proven experience in the field of Human Resources
• Demonstrable skills in Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle data with confidentiality
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Experience in the Social Care/Services industry would be advantageous
• Certification in Human Resources, such as PHR or SPHR, is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to staying informed about the latest developments in the HR field.
