As a Manufacturing HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of human resources strategies tailored to the unique needs of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
2. Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions.
3. Performance Management:
- Collaborate with managers to implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary matters and support the resolution of performance issues.
4. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and collaborate with department heads to implement training programs.
- Support employee development initiatives to enhance skills and promote career growth.
5. HR Policies and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend adjustments to policies and procedures as needed.
6. Employee Benefits and Well-being:
- Administer employee benefit programs and support employees with benefit-related inquiries.
- Promote employee well-being initiatives and coordinate wellness programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
