We are seeking a highly motivated HR/Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our organization by managing essential HR functions and ensuring smooth payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration:
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including time-off accruals, adjustments, and incentive payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, tax filings, and reporting.
- Maintain employee records and conduct audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Talent Acquisition:
- Post job openings and screen applicants.
- Coordinate background checks, drug tests, and physical assessments for new hires.
- Onboard new employees, providing necessary documentation and orientation.
- HR Support:
- Provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee relations issues, including performance management and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain accurate employee records and conduct regular audits.
- DOT Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, including driver qualifications and employment verification.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paylocity) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) and 2-3 years Human Resources experience including payroll preferred.
